Manhunt launched as man escaped police custody at Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh
A 22-year-old man is being hunted by police after escaping from officers.
A 22-year-old man is being sought by police, after he escaped from custody while at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh.
Officers say he escaped from the hospital at around 3:30pm on Sunday afternoon.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 3.30 pm on Sunday, 16 October 2022, a 22-year-old man escaped from the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh whilst under police custody.
"Enquiries are ongoing to trace him.”
