Man Due In Court In Connection With Glenrothes Death

A 28-year-old man has been charged with murder after a man was found dead in a flat in Glenrothes.

The body of Latvian Aleksandrs Sokolovs, 29, was discovered in a property on Tummel Road last Monday.

Police Scotland said that a man is due to appear at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court later today (Thursday 23rd April)

In a statement issued through police today, the family of Mr Sokolovs said: "Aleksandrs was a very friendly person who loved to travel and experience different cultures.

"He was a loving son and brother, and will be missed by all persons who knew him.''
