Man charged with attempted murder after Calder Road attack
A 38-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder after a 31-year-old man was seriously assaulted in west Edinburgh.
The attack took place in the Calder Road area at 9:20am on Moday.
The victim was rushed to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, where he is now being treated.
A 31-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder and assault with intent to rob. A 25-year-old man has been charged with assault.
Both men are scheduled to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Wednesday 12 December.
