Man charged in connection with the death of Mark Hacon-Deavin

A 45-year-old man has been charged following the death of 41-year-old Mark Deavin last Saturday.

Police have arrested and charged a 45-year-old man in connection with the death of Mark Hacon-Deavin in Glenrothes.

He is due before Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court on Monday 26th July, a full report will be forwarded to the Procurator Fiscal.

Mark Deavin, who was 41, was found injured in Boblingen Way, Glenrothes, at in the early hours of last Saturday and was pronounced dead at the scene.

His family asked Police to release a statement on their behalf: "We are completely devastated by his murder. He was a much loved brother and uncle and will be sorely missed by all."
