Man charged in connection with thefts from cars in Kirkcaldy

Police in Fife have charged a 38-year-old man in connection with a series of thefts from vehicles in Kirkcaldy

Police in Fife can confirm that a 38-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a series of thefts from vehicles in the Kirkcaldy area, which took place last week.

The incidents occurred at Mitchelston Industrial Estate and the Overton Mains area between Saturday, 16 April, and Thursday, 21 April, 2022.

The man is due to appear at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court today (Monday, 25 April).

Detective Constable Fraser Simpson, of Kirkcaldy Community Investigation Unit, said: “We’d like to thank members of the public for their assistance with this investigation.”
