Man charged after series of West Lothian thefts

A 36 year old man has been arrested and charged after a series of thefts across West Lothian between November 2024 and July 2025.

Police say the incidents include a stolen car from Main Street, East Calder on December 2 2024, housebreaking and vehicle thefts in Broxburn, Livingston and East Whitburn between March 1 and 3 2025, and further vehicle, power tool, and cabling thefts between July 13 and 21 throughout West Lothian.

He has also been charged in connection with an assault in Craigshill, Livingston on Monday 21 July, as well as a number of road traffic offences.

The 36 year old is expected to appear at Livingston Sheriff Court on Wednesday 23 July.
