Man charged after attempted murder in Grangemouth
A 47 year-old man was seriously injured.
A man has been charged in connection with an attempted murder in Grangemouth.
A 47-year-old man was injured on a footpath on Kingseat Avenue around 1.15pm on Thursday, 9 April, 2020.
He was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with serious injuries.
Police are treating what happened as attempted murder and a 45-year-old man is due to appear at Stirling Sheriff Court in connection on Saturday 11 April.
Detective Inspector Rob Andrews, of Stirling CID, said: “Enquiries into this remain ongoing and I want to thank the local community for their co-operation so far.
“I am appealing to anyone who saw or heard any suspicious activity to contact the police as soon as possible. I would also ask anyone with dash-cam footage who was driving in the area at the time to check back to see if they have captured anything that may be of use to us.
