Man arrested after Fife petrol station robbery

A 26-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a robbery in Kirkcaldy.

Police were informed of the incident which happened at the Shell garage on Hendry Road at around 1am this morning, Sunday 11th February.

No one was injured as a result of the incident, however a three figure sum of cash was stolen. Investigations are ongoing however no one else is sought in relation to this.

Detective Chief Inspector Scott Cunningham said: "Our enquiries are continuing and we would urge anyone who may have information to come forward.
