Man arrested after £250,000 of cannabis found in Edinburgh home

A quarter of a million pounds worth of cannabis was found at a property on West Fairbrae Crescent.

Officers have arrested a 32-year-old man and charged him with drugs offences after a warrant was issued in Edinburgh.

Yesterday they found cannabis worth a quarter of a million pounds inside a property on West Fairbrae Crescent.

The man is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Thursday, 29 June, 2023.

Chief Inspector Mark Hamilton said: “This was a significant drugs recovery that has taken £250,000 worth of drugs out of our communities.

“Drugs cause misery in our communities and we are committed to disrupting their supply.

“This operation underlines our commitment to the Serious Organised Crime Taskforce and the country’s Serious Organised Crime Strategy.
