18-year-old arrested in connection with attempted murder of Police officer
An 18-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the attempted murder of a Police officer in Edinburgh
Police in Edinburgh have arrested an 18-year-old man in connection with the attempted murder of one of their officers.
Last Wednesday (January 11) around 4:15pm an officer was injured after being hit by a car.
The vehicle was pulled as part of a routine stop in the Bathfield area, suspected of road traffic offences.
Police Scotland say enquiries into the full extent of the incident are ongoing.
