20 year old man charged after Aberdeen mass brawl

The incident happened hours before Aberdeen met Hibernian

Police in Aberdeen were called to break up a mass brawl ahead of the home city's face off against Hibs yesterday.

Officers were seen apprehending supporters in Union Street around 1.30pm.

Inspector Stuart Fisher said: “Police were quickly on scene and a 20-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with this incident.

“Officers are continuing to carry out enquiries to identify and trace others involved in this disturbance.”
