Man and woman killed in Fife car crash on B914 at Blairadam

Officers had been working to establish the number of occupants that died in the crash

A man and a woman have been killed in a crash on the B914 at Blairadam.

A white Mercedes AMG C43 travelling towards Kelty left the road at around 8.50pm on Sunday, August 11th.

Emergency services attended and the two occupants, one man and one woman, were pronounced dead at the scene.

Formal identification has not yet taken place.

The road is closed for crash investigation work and inquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.

Inspector James Henry of Fife road policing said:

"Our thoughts are with the family of the man and woman who died.

"An investigation is underway and we are appealing for information that could assist with our inquiries.

"If you were in the area at the time then please get in touch, particularly if you have dash-cam footage that could help."
