Man and woman appear in court charged with murder in Fife village

Two people have appeared in court charged with the murder of a woman in Fife.
Claire Turnbull, 36, was found dead in Rintoul Avenue, Blairhall, at around 7.30pm on Friday October 5.
A 27-year-old man and 29-year-old woman were arrested by police and appeared at Dunfermline Sheriff Court on Monday.
Aaron Donald and Laura McMurdo were both charged with murder and made no plea during the private hearing.
The pair, from Dunfermline, were remanded in custody with the case committed for further examination.
They are due to make a second court appearance next week.
Earlier, Detective Inspector Kelly McEwan said: "Our thoughts are with Claire's family and friends at this tragic time.
"Claire's family are being supported by specialist officers and the family kindly request privacy at this time to come to terms with their loss."
