Police in West Lothian are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted in parking bays in Blackburn on Friday - 1st January 2016. The incident happened around 4.45 am in Rowan Street, Blackburn when three males attacked a 40-year-old man. The Scottish Ambulance Service took the man to the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary where he is being treated for serious injuries. Officers are now asking anyone with information that can assist them with their inquiries to please come forward. Detective Sergeant Dennis Langton of Livingston CID said: “The man was found lying injured and we are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen him before the attack or who saw the incident itself. “Anyone with information is asked to contact us by calling 101 or via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
