Man, 22, arrested after early morning Gorgie disturbance

A 22-year old man has been arrested following an early morning disturbance in Gorgie.

Emergency services locked down Coxfield Lane at around 6am on Friday.

The cul-de-sac was reopened around 9am after the suspect was arrested.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called around 6am on Friday, 16 February, 2024, to a report of a disturbance in the Gorgie Road area of Edinburgh.

“Officers attended and a 22-year-old man has been arrested in connection.”

“Enquiries are ongoing.”
