Police appeal after Livingston takeaway smashed into and robbed

Officers are appealing for information after Dragon House Takeaway in Livingston, West Lothian, was broken into this morning.

The glass door of the Kirk Lane take-out was smashed in and cash was stolen at 2:15 AM.

Detective Constable Greig Porteous, of Livingston Police, said: “We are appealing for anyone who may have seen anything suspicious before and after this incident to get in touch.

"In particular, if you have private CCTV or door-bell footage please contact us.

“We are also keen to speak to anyone driving in the area who might have captured something on dash-cam that could help with our investigation."

Anyone who can help is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 0523 of Saturday, 12 November.

They can also a call anonymously to the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
