Driver of a red Mini reverses into a man leaving him in hospital

There's a hunt for a hit-and-run driver who ran over man while reversing out of a parking space in Livingston, and then drove off.

A 47-year-old man was taken to hospital after being hit by the red mini in St Andrews Way in the Deans area of the town at 12.20pm on Saturday 3rd February.

Police say the driver made off in the direction of Deans North Road and enquiries are ongoing to trace them.

Constable Andrew Fraser, said: “There were a number of people in the area at the time of the crash and we are keen to speak to anyone who saw what happened, particularly if you have dash-cam footage or private CCTV that could assist with our enquiries.”
