A man's been attacked with a golf club and robbed in Livingston.
A man's been attacked with a golf club and robbed in Livingston.
The 32-year-old was making a takeaway delivery to Willow Grove in Craigshill around around 10.30pm Thursday when three men assaulted him before stealing the food he was delivering and trying to take his cash.
The victim suffered minor injury to his face and contacted police who are now urging anyone who can assist with their inquiries to come forward.
All three suspects are described as being white, in their thirties, of medium build with Scottish accents.
One of the men was between 6ft and 6ft 2ins tall and was wearing white t-shirt.
Another was around 5ft 10ins tall with medium-length spiked light-coloured hair and wearing a dark-coloured shirt. He was also in possession of a golf club.
The final suspect was around 5ft 10ins tall with a front tooth missing and was wearing a grey hooded top with the hood up.
Detective Constable Craig Waddell said: “Thankfully, the victim did not sustain serious injuries during this opportunistic attack and we are conducting local inquiries in the area to identify those responsible.
“Anyone who recognises the description of these men and can help trace them is asked to contact police immediately.
“In addition, anyone who remembers seeing anything suspicious in Willow Grove on Thursday evening should also get in touch.”
