Lives saved after boat capsizes at Loch Lomond
The Loch Lomond Rescue Boat saved three people from the water on Sunday
Loch Lomond Rescue Boats (LLRB) saved the lives of three people on Sunday morning after a boat capsized between Inchcailloch and Torrinch.
The three individuals were then transferred to the Scottish Ambulance Service to be treated.
None of those that were on the capsized boat were wearing life-jackets, with the LLRB encouraging people on social media to wear them when on the water.
"Thankfully life’s were saved today. LLRB stood down and returned to base. Thank you to all emergency services today and others involved.
"IF ON THE WATER PLEASE WEAR LIFE JACKETS".
Along with National Park Rangers, the LLRB were also able to rescue the capsized boat and drag it towards Milarrochy.
