LISTEN: Vigil to take place in Edinburgh for Orlando shooting victims

A vigil's to take place on Wednesday at Edinburgh's St Andrew Square to remember the victims of the Orlando shooting.

49 people were killed when Omar Mateen opened fire in gay nightclub Pulse during the early hours of Sunday morning.

53 others were injured.

The attack's the deadliest mass shooting in the US in recent memory.

Authorities in the US say the shooter pledged allegiance to Islamic State shortly before the incident.

Vigils and memorials are taking place across Scotland - with gatherings being held in Glasgow and Dundee today.

The event in Edinburgh takes place in St Andrew Square at 7pm on Wednesday.
