A man has told us about the terrifying deliberate fire which destroyed a block of flats in Murrayburn over the weekend, as Police hunt the culprit.

Fire crews were called to 12 Murrayburn Green at 9pm on Sunday after the blaze broke out. Eight homes had to be evacuated and four people were left injured.

They were given oxygen on the scene, after inhaling smoke, and two were taken to Edinburgh's Royal Infirmary.

Now Police Scotland are attempting to trace the individual or group that deliberately started the fire, and put lives at risk.

Our reporter Hope Webb spoke to Reuben Taylor, a resident in the block of flats affected.

He describes a terrifying scene, where he rushed to save his life.
