LISTEN: Investigation Launched At Armed Robbery In Kirkcaldy

A major investigation is underway after an armed raid at a bank in Kirkcaldy.

It happened this afternoon at the Bank of Scotland branch on the Mitchelston Industrial Estate - which is right beside an Asda store, and just yards away from a High School.

It is not known how much - if anything - was stolen, but police say no one was hurt.

Police in Fife confirmed to us they are in attendance; "No-one has been injured in the incident. Inquiries are at an early stage."
