Forth News has been speaking to a Syrian refugee about finding a "peaceful life" - after being resettled in Edinburgh.
32-year-old Omar Ahmed fled Syria in 2013 with his wife and two children. He managed to make it to Lebanon, where he struggled to get by. It was there that the UN selected his family to be moved to Scotland for a new life.
He was on-board a flight of migrants that arrived at Prestwick Airport in November.
Now he is being supported by charity 'The Welcoming Association' in Edinburgh - who look after a total of 60 Syrians in the city.
Our reporter Hope Webb went to meet him, to hear his story and his new aspirations.
