31-year-old David Seath, from Cowdenbeath, suffered a cardiac arrest three miles from the finish line on Saturday.

His had been running to raise money for charity 'Help for Hereos' when he collapsed.

His best friend James Walker-McClimens has set up a fundraising page for the same charity, and along with David's own page, they have together raised over £140,000.

Capt Walker-McClimens served with Capt Seath in the 19th Regiment The Royal Artillery The Highland Gunners in Tidworth.

They both went on tour to Afghanistan in 2012.
