League Two leaders Forfar were surprisingly held to a 1-1 draw at home to rock-bottom Edinburgh City.

The part-time capital club are still winless since being promoted to the league for this season, but they took a shock first-half lead through striker Ouzy See.

Danny Denholm equalised midway through the second period but Forfar were unable to find a winner.

Elgin took advantage to move within a point of the summit by beating Cowdenbeath 3-1.

Brian Cameron and Archie MacPhee scored in the first half and Shane Sutherland's strike killed the game off before Brian Ross' consolation.

Elgin were the division's only winners as the remaining two matches also finished 1-1.

Steven Thomson earned a point for Berwick after David Gold had put Arbroath ahead in the first half, while Clyde and Stirling also shared the spoils. Marc McKenzie scored an early opener for Stirling but Peter MacDonald equalised.
