Kirkcaldy's Postings shopping centre sold at auction

The Postings shopping centre in Kirkcaldy has been sold at auction today.

The centre went under the hammer in London with a give-away pricetag of £1 but ended up going for £310,000.

The centre, opened at a cost of £4.2m in 1981 and has only four units occupied.

Owners Columbia Threadneedle made headlines when they announced the discount price for the centre, generating interest in the building.
