Investigation launched after man's body found in Edinburgh

A man's body has been found in an Edinburgh Street.

Police Scotland said officers were called to West Pilton March to the west of Edinburgh city centre at about 1.45pm, where the body of a man was found.

Officers said they were investigating the discovery, but would not comment about the nature of the death at this stage.

A spokesman for the force said: ''Police Scotland can confirm that the body of a man has been found in West Pilton March today and our enquiries are ongoing.''
