Investigation Following Sex Attack On 15 Year Old Girl

An investigation's been launched after a 15-year-old girl was sexually assaulted by two men in Burntisland in Fife.

It happened last Thursday, but the incident was not reported to police until Tuesday.

The attack happened some time between 8.30pm and 10pm in Lochies Road, adjacent to The Sands Hotel.

No description of the suspects is available and police are keen to speak to anyone who remembers seeing anything suspicious in or around Lochies Road on Thursday June 25.

They would also like to speak to anyone who remembers seeing the victim, who is described as slim with long blonde and pink hair and wearing black leggings, a black crop top and a light-coloured jacket.

Detective inspector June Peebles said: We are currently trying to determine exactly what has happened during this incident and would urge members of the public who can assist with our investigation to come forward.
