Police investigation after body found at Edinburgh beauty spot

An investigation is underway after a body was found on Salisbury Crags in Edinburgh.
Police say they made the discovery at around 1.20pm on Thursday.
The emergency services were sent to the scene and an investigation is under way.
The crags are a series of steep cliffs off of Arthur's Seat in Holyrood Park.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “Around 1.20pm on Thursday August 27, a body was discovered on Salisbury Crags on Queen's Drive, Edinburgh.
“Emergency services are at the scene while inquiries are carried out.”
