Double Olympic champion Dame Kelly Holmes says she hopes the future of Edinburgh's under-threat Meadowbank Stadium can be secured. Councillors are set to decide whether to spend millions of pounds on the delapidated sports complex or shut it down. The athlete was in Edinburgh to roll-out her charity, The Dame Kelly Holmes Trust in the Capital after it received £175,000 from the people's postcode lottery.
