Errors plague Hogmanay ticket sales
Organisers say they're experiencing 'extremely high volumes of traffic' on the website

Errors with payment systems has delayed the sale of tickets for Edinburgh's Hogmanay Street Party.
30,000 tickets went on sale at 10am this morning, but customers found they were unable to purchase any tickets, with organisers saying the website was experiencing 'extremely high volumes of traffic'.
Ticket sales have now been halted as organisers aim to fix problems with the payment system.
Customers took to Twitter to complain about errors purchasing tickets at around 10:30.
When trying to purchase any tickets from the Hogmanay website, an error message reads: 'An error occurred when adding tickets: The system is currently very busy, you may browse but not buy currently. Please try later'
Edinburgh's Hogmanay apologised for the issues on Twitter:
"Due to a UK wide issue w/ the payment server outwith our control we are currently unable to process any ticket sales.
"We have halted sales & will make an announcement when tickets go back on sale.
"Please be assured we are working tirelessly w/ the provider to rectify this issue."
The organisers have assured customers tickets will still be available once the issue is fixed.
Customers are being advised to keep an eye for further announcements on Edinburgh Hogmanay's social media pages.
