Hibernian sign winger Sylvester Jasper on loan from Fulham
The 20-year old arrived with an option-to-buy in his contract
Hibernian have signed winger Sylvester Jasper on loan from Fulham until the end of the season, with wide man Jamie Murphy set to depart for Mansfield Town.
The 20-year old Englishman arrives from the Championship club and has an option-to-buy clause in his contract.
Jasper has only made three first team appearances for the Cottagers but has impressed in the Premier League 2, scoring eight goals in just 16 games for the Fulham U23 side.
He featured for League Two side Colchester United in the first part of this season, scoring three goals in 24 matches.
He has also made two appearances for the Bulgaria Under-21's.
Manager Shaun Maloney told the Hibernian FC website: "“Sylvester is a talented young player that possesses a lot of creativity and speed. He gives us extra options and can play on both the left and right in attacking areas.
“My staff and I are looking forward to working with him and welcoming him to the club.”
Meanwhile, 32-year old Jamie Murphy is heading down South after falling out of favour at Easter Road.
Alex Gogic left earlier in the day, whilst Hibs also added attacker Runar Hauge from BODO/Glimt.
