Hibs sign Belgian defender Rocky Bushiri from Norwich City
He's joining on loan - with an option to buy in the summer
Hibs have made another January signing, after confirming Belgian defender Rocky Bushiri is joining on loan from Norwich City.
The deal with the English Premier League side runs until the end of the season, when the Hibees will have the option to buy the 22-year-old.
Bushiri is described by the club as a 'quick and strong' centre-back who started his career at KV Oostende before moving to the UK.
He's since has spent several loan spells away from Norwich - with his parent club saying he has recently recovered from a knee injury.
Hibs manager Shaun Maloney said: "Rocky is a talented young player who will offer us real versatility in different defensive positions.
“Technically, he is very good in possession, and he shows good aggression and speed in defensive actions.
“Along with all the staff, I am really looking forward to working with him and helping him adapt to a new league and our style of play.”
Bushiri is the fourth arrival at Easter Road during an already busy January transfer window.
He follows the signings of Elias Melkersen, Harry Clarke and Ewan Henderson.
