Published 7th Aug 2025

Hibernian and Dundee United have given themselves a good chance to qualify for the play-off round of the Conference League after positive away first leg results.

Martin Boyle scored twice for David Gray's side to give them a 2-0 victory in a hostile atmosphere in Serbia.

They beat FK Partizan as the Australian international scored his 100th and 101st goals for the Easter Road side.

Vukasin Djurdjevic was also sent off in the first half for the hosts.

The Hibees welcome their opponents to Edinburgh in the return tie next Thursday.

Dundee United take 2-2 draw back to Tannadice against Rapid Vienna.

Jim Goodwin's side went behind twice in Austria but goals from new signings Max Watters and Zac Sapsford means the tie is all square on aggregate.

Goalkeeper Yevhenii Kucharenko also had to pull of some impressive saves on the night.

The Tangerines survived a late scare as Rapid Vienna had an injury time goal disallowed for offside.
