Hibs confirm interest in Scott McDonald and Grant Holt
Both players have entered talks with the Hibees.
Hibernian manager Neil Lennon has confirmed his interest in experienced strikers Grant Holt and Scott McDonald.
Former Norwich striker Holt, 35, is available after leaving Rochdale while McDonald is considering his future after being offered reduced wages to stay at Motherwell, who had a one-year option on his services.
Both players have had talks over a move to Easter Road and Lennon told Hibs TV: Both of those players, there's an interest there from Hibernian. I think they've got good qualities and they bring experience - we lack that a little bit in certain parts of the team.''
Lennon, whose team kick off their season in the Europa League on July 14, added: Ideally we would like to add a couple of names and even when the European game comes around it will not be finalised.
I'm sure there will also be a couple of players moving out the door, either on loan or permanently.''
