Hearts unveil new signing Danny Amankwaa

Hearts have signed Danish winger Danny Amankwaa from FC Copenhagen, subject to international clearance.

The 23-year-old, who had a spell on trial with Chelsea earlier in his career, has agreed an 18-month deal with the Jambos.

Amankwaa won three Danish Superliga titles at FC Copenhagen and is relishing the chance to play in the Ladbrokes Premiership.

He told the club's website: I'm very happy to be here and I can't wait to play in front of these amazing fans that I've heard so much about.

I would say I'm quite fast and skillful. I am fit and ready to play so hopefully the fans will quickly see what type of player I am.

I'm an offensive player so hopefully I can contribute with assists and some goals as well.'
