Hearts seal deal for Tranmere striker Cole Stockton
Hearts have secured their second signing of the summer by tying up Tranmere striker Cole Stockton on a pre-contract.
The Ladbrokes Premiership club announced the 23-year-old would sign a two-year contract on July 1, after his Rovers deal expires.
Stockton scored 10 goals on loan with Sky Bet League Two side Morecambe in the first half of last season before returning to the league below with Tranmere, where he hit a further eight goals, including three in their Vanarama League play-off semi-final against Aldershot. The Merseyside club lost to Forest Green Rovers in the final.
The 6ft 1in striker joins Scotland defender Christophe Berra in pledging his future to Hearts this summer.
