Reopening party for Gorgie Farm after the attraction was saved by a charity
Edinburgh's much-loved Gorgie Farm reopens on Saturday - just three months after the attraction went into liquidation.
The farm struggled with low visitor numbers and high running costs but has now been taken over by the charity, LOVE Learning.
Football and rugby stars will attend the reopening while lots of family friendly events are organised.
Children can even take some newly arrived alpacas (pictured) for a stroll.
LOVE Learning has also organised a community consultation (12-2pm) where visitors can tell the new owners about their hopes for the future of the farm.
The attraction has been rebranded 'LOVE Gorgie Farm'.
The reopening comes earlier than expected thanks to hundreds of volunteers who have been helping out over the last two weeks.
