A charity which helps vulnerable kids is taking over Gorgie City Farm after it went into liquidation in November.

LOVE learning will run the much-loved attraction with a promise it'll still be open seven days and week and entry will remain free.

The farm's new name will be Love Gorgie.

Lynn Bell, CEO of LOVE learning said: "We are incredibly excited to be taking on such a treasured resource.

"We would like to commend the massive community support and fully recognise the love there clearly is for Gorgie City Farm.

"It will be a real community hub".
