Gang who drove naked kidnap victim around Edinburgh jailed for 28 years

Four gang members have been jailed for a total of 28 years for subjecting a man to a terrifying kidnap ordeal in Edinburgh.

Nigerian-born Emmanuel Chidubem Emmanuel was tied naked in the boot of a BMW - but managed to escape by accessing a fuse panel.

He'd been driven around south Edinburgh for an hour before he managed to break free.

Emmanuel got out in Buckstone Road - but ended up fighting with his captures who tried to bundle him back in the car.

A passer-by called police.

At the High Court in Edinburgh, three men Sanchez Facey, Glen Elamo and Arnold Mukueto were jailed seven years.

A fourth man, Hooman Sojoodi got seven-and-a-half.

The exact reason for kidnapping was not revealed in court
