Scottish units who lost their lives in the Gallipoli landings during World War One have been specially recognised at an event in Edinburgh. A commemorative dawn service has been held at the Scottish National War Memorial to mark the 100th anniversary of the campaign in Turkey. Around 58-thousand Allied troops were killed.

Meanwhile in Turkey, the Prince of Wales and Prince Harry joined more than 10,000 people in a dawn pilgrimage.
