Four teenagers charged after deliberate fire at former Musselburgh hospital

Four teenagers have been charged over a deliberate fire which ripped through two derelict hospital buildings in Musselburgh.

The blaze broke out on Edenhall Road on Sunday 19 May.

Officers have charged three boys and a girl - aged between 14 and 16. A report will be sent to the relevant authority.

Detective Constable Calum Cross said: “I’d like to assure locals this type of behaviour will not be tolerated.

"We are committed to tackling this kind of behaviour and take appropriate action where incidents are reported and offenders identified.”
