Four men involved in Edinburgh's property care scandal are being jailed for a total of 13 years.

They include corrupt council officials and builders who operated an elaborate fraud.

Council employees Charles Owenson and James Costello accepted bribes from Kevin Balmer and Brendan Cantwell to award them lucrative contracts.

It was for work on buildings owned by the local authority like schools and libraries.

Owenson received the longest sentence of four years and four months.

Costello was ordered to serve three years and nine months.

Balmer got two years and ten months, while Cantwell was jailed for two years and three months.
