As Scotland begins to see the impact of storm Dudley, BEAR Scotland has closed the Forth Bridge to a number of users due to high wind speeds.

Gales are now reaching heights of 50mph on the bridge, forcing the likes of double decker buses, motorcycles and cyclists to be told they cannot cross for the time being.

Vehicles with trailers and pedestrians are also advised not to make their way across.

Storm Dudley is expected to have a strong impact across the country this afternoon and evening.
