A man's been arrested and charged in connection with an attempted murder in Fife.
Another man aged 42 was found with stab wounds to his leg in Leven yesterday evening around 5.15pm.
Officers were flagged down on Methil Brae, where they discovered him lying outside a property.
He was taken to Ninewells Hospital and is in a critical but stable condition.
Detective Inspector Chris Mill, of Levenmouth CID, said: "Officers reacted quickly to the situation and following an investigation led by detectives alongside local uniformed officers and engagement from the community, we were able to arrest and charge a man in connection with this incident."
The 44-year-old is due to appear at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court tomorrow.
