Former Hibs striker Grant Holt to become professional wrestler
Last updated 22nd May 2018
He became a supporters' favourite during his time at Easter Road - now former Hibs striker Grant Holt is trying to win over a new set of fans, as he becomes a pro wrestler.
The 37-year-old - who played for the Hibees during the 2016-17 season - has agreed to join the World Association of Wrestling promotion.
He begins training this week, and is scheduled to have his first match next year, teaming up with experienced UK grapplers Roy and Zak Knight.
He's not the first footballer to try his hand at the sport, with English goalkeeper Stuart Tomlinson having a two year stint wrestling for WWE on their NXT brand.
