Hibs have signed former Hearts left-back Adam Eckersley.
The 30-year-old, who was banned for two games last season for headbutting then Hibs midfielder Scott Allan, has signed a short-term deal until January.
The Englishman is the second member of Hearts' Championship-winning squad to cross Edinburgh and sign for Hibs, following in the footsteps of James Keatings.
Eckersley told Hibs' official website: I'm delighted to have signed for Hibs.
We have a strong squad here and I'll be working hard to push myself into the manager's plans.
I know I can do well here and am looking forward to helping the team in the coming months.''
Head coach Alan Stubbs added: He has shown his ability at this level in the past and I'm confident he'll make a positive contribution here.''
