Fife ‘urban hunter’ sentenced to seven years for child sexual offences
Brandon Robb was convicted of sexually assaulting two girls and a young boy in Fife between May 2011 and May 2015
A man who subjected three children to a series of sexual assaults over a four-year period has been sentenced to seven years in prison.
Brandon Robb, 28, was convicted on Thursday, 6 February 2025 following a trial at the High Court in Edinburgh.
Robb attacked two girls and a young boy at locations in Fife between May 2011 and May 2015.
The High Court in Edinburgh also heard how Robb acted in a threatening and abusive manner to two women in incidents which took place between November 2019 and February 2023.
Robb, who has previous convictions for sexual offences, was brought to justice after his victims contacted police.
He has been placed on the sex offenders register indefinitely and has been given a 20-year non-harassment order, with a further six years on licence when he is released.
Detective Sergeant Alasdair Young said: “Brandon Robb is a violent man and sexual predator who preyed on children and abused them. I hope that today they take some comfort knowing their abuser is behind bars as they continue to move forward with their lives.
“Investigating past events can present challenges and sometimes, only with hindsight, do people recognise what happened to them was abuse.
“Police Scotland has highly trained specialist officers across the country who investigate such offences and working with partners we ensure perpetrators are brought to justice.
“We are committed to investigating all reports of abuse regardless of when it happened, where it took place or who was involved. We will listen, we will investigate, and we will take prompt action to ensure no-one else is at risk of harm. We would ask anyone wishing to make a report to contact us by phoning 101.”
Robb has previously posted pictures of himself and his dog hunting deer in the Scottish countryside on social media.
He was jailed in 2014 after admitting to using his dog to hunt and kill a rare piebald deer.
A court heard how he lived a “feral existence” and was dubbed an “urban hunter”.
