A Fife family are pleading for anyone with mental health problems to speak out - less than a week after the loss of missing Glenrothes man Steven Squire.

The 33-year-old Army Veteran’s body was discovered on the outskirts of Perth on Friday 6th September.

His sister in law is urging those battling inner demons to seek help as part of World Suicide Prevention Day.

Chelsea Simpson said: "The numbness is still there. the pain is still there. There isn't actually words to describe the pain and the confusion and the questions."

She also had this message for anyone struggling with their mental health:

"Although they are feeling sad and although this is the darkest time for them.

"They can see the light again, there is light there. I don't want them to feel that they're the only ones feeling this."

A fundraiser has been set up to support the family of the Army Veteran, but also says it hopes to "bring light to the suicide epidemic".
