Family pay tribute to doting dad after his death at a house in Fife

The family of Colin Oliphant has released a statement in tribute to him.

Mr Olipant died at a house in Keltyhill Avenue at around 11 a.m. on Wednesday, September 6.

A post mortem examination established he was attacked beforehand and had sustained a number of injuries to his body.

Police Scotland's Major Investigation Team are now leading the enquiry to establish the full circumstances surrounding this death and identify whoever was responsible.

In a statement issued through Police Scotland, the family of Mr Oliphant said: 'Colin was a doting father and much loved by those who knew him. He will be greatly missed.

'We kindly ask members of the public to respect our privacy while we grieve.'
